Tapas: USA.gov searches across all federal, state, and local government websites–that’s hundreds of billions of pages from .gov and .mil websites plus over 11,000 .com, .org, etc. websites.
We maintain this list at http://govt-urls.usa.gov/tematres/vocab/index.php and make periodic updates as we come across changes.
Each quarter, we also post the URLs in Github in three files.
1. Alphabetic—an A-Z list of URLs with accompanying notes and relationships collected over time.
2. Hierarchical—a flat list of URLs segmented by category.
3. YAML—a mapping file of the URLs for applications.
Here’s your chance to unleash the power of this list by helping developers access it via an API.
Your task is to offer an API for the URLs.
